I am a 2026 GSoC contributor at PySal (under the NumFOCUS umbrella).
My project is the "Geographically Weighted Principal Component Analysis" (350 hours), mentored by Martin Fleischmann, Serge Rey

@FirePheonix, thank you for the PR. Has Serge approved the use of his image on the blog? We just want to make sure we don't run into any issues with publishing photos.

@henrykironde hey actually i have aske serge for his opinion on this.. waiting for a response from his side.
if it's urgent.. may i remove the image?
i can always make edits in my own blog of week 1 later on?
